I thought this was an Onion piece when I first read it, it is so absurd. Alas, it is not.

"How Climate Change Helped ISIS".

I think I'm going to write an article: "How climate change gives second and third-rate minds something to do"

I'm so sorry, it isn't easy, it's a terrible shock. I hope with time she makes the adjustment. I'm very glad she has family/you around to support her.

I'm doing ok. Just a lot of work right now. The paperwork for my elderly friends is a little intense at the moment, but we're muddling through. Thankfully, my elderly friend's health is stable at the moment. ::Knock wood::

You can't help. She's so angry. It's really hard to be around. A few sibs have backed away, one sib has her own problems right now, so lucky me!!

OK, today's a happy occasion. Rain is supposed to stop by 1PM ish.

I agree, Pete, but having people to look after her helps. I think my dad really needed us around him when my mother died.

Yes, the older one died at the beginning of this past summer. It wasn't very sudden, but still a shock, he'd been on 'the slippery slope' for some months. His sister rarely speaks of him. I think it's too much to accept all at once. But it's hard to know what she 'understands', with the dementia.

Speaking of weddings....

Man wins right to marry stepmother! Kind of a "reverse" Woody Allen move there.
