Does this mean the c is skipping all stops in between?

Due to a water main break at W 4 St-Washington Square, trains are running express between Canal St and 59 St-Columbus Circle in both directions.
Allow additional travel time.

I didn't count the time with just me and my son as living alone.
There was a lot of video games, and while not the healthiest eating possible, we did better than just junk food.

My living totally alone times have been by there nature temporary, when moving from one city to another.

The trio of Moron should be happy about this:

Since September, Americans for Prosperity, a group financed in part by the billionaire Koch brothers, has spent an estimated $20 million on television advertising that calls out House and Senate Democrats by name for their support of the Affordable Care Act.

The unusually aggressive early run of television ads, which has been supplemented by other conservative initiatives, has gone largely unanswered, and strategists in both parties agree it is taking a toll on its targets.

Bartending is a tough job for the first half a year or so but then it gets sort of routine and you get used to standing on your feet long hours. After that, it becomes kinda fun. I never bartended at a bar but did tend the bar at like weddings/events when I worked for a catering company. Same thing for waitering and parking cars (did both of those as well).

My niece, who is mostly a waitress and student, was a bartender for a while. She LOVED it, much more fun than waiting tables. As far as I know, no bartending where she is now (Locanda Verde in Tribeca) but she's making nice money. Hates it though.

January 15, 2014 1:01 PM - Deleted
it's quick and cheap(ish) - but man, are they skimpy! i don't eat cold cuts much but would much rather go to a deli and get a pound of some boars head and make it at home
January 15, 2014 1:03 PM - BoerumHillScott
In addition to a better price, Subway offers a number of sandwich options that delis don’t, including lots of veggies.
I don’t eat there in the city more than once a year, but I know people who do.

Dunno, to me eating at chain restaurants pretty much defeats the purpose of living in a big city.
January 15, 2014 1:07 PM - BoerumHillScott
There is more to life (and the city) than food and I don’t see how having a variety of choices and experiences defeats anything.
If someone only ate at chains, I would question if they are taking advantage of what the city has to offer.

Funny to admit that I like to go to Subway for the fresh veggie toppings and fresh bread (on top of the low price).

"Its legality is now being challengers before the Supreme Court"

Will be struck down, if previous precedent is any guide.

at least you guys don't side with the anti-abortion crowd. you are in bed with benghazi conspiracy theorists, gun nuts and such. glad you are more enlightened about abortion rights.

GE

Commute complaint: Subway was effed up both ways today, a realm of hell I hope not to visit again anytime soon.

The day was salvaged though...Breakfast for Dinner! Love that!

my trip home was easy. took the M. F train was F'd up???
January 15, 2014 8:39 PM - Cobble B. Hiller
Super insanely crowded, some guy told me to move in. I looked around and said 'there's nowhere to go'! 6 train had half hour delay, so walked over to F with 40 million other people. Bah! I'm over it.

Ouch, that hurt, Cobble.

Rice on the stove cooking, chicken in the oven. Things are looking (smelling) great here.

January 15, 2014 9:11 PM - More4Less

Yep, not the same story earlier. Ah well.

Roast chicken sounds wonderful. I have one in the freezer destined for soup.

Randi;

I think you misunderstood my post. I was stating that the law keeping anti-abortion protests at a certain distance will likely be struck down, based on past cases. Also, I am definitely pro-life, but I will not debate that issue on the OT.

Yes, just started Season 1 this past weekend. I've had some b*tchy bosses, but GC really takes the cake!
January 15, 2014 10:16 PM - BoerumHillScott

Looks liike that tattoo's going to happen, rf. My Jr High math teacher, an aging hippie, had an infinity sign on her big toe. We all thought it was very cool.

She won't be able to see it. Only with difficulty in the mirror! I guess she'll have cell phone pictures.

BnH has a tattoo. He didn't want DoBH to get a tattoo, but her mother let her. Now she has 5. We cautioned her, but she went ahead anyway, and got more.
