Thank you ALL so much for making last night a great gathering! It was great to finally meet randi after all these years. I'm very grateful to everyone for coming (especially to those of you who traveled from Toronto and Irvington and the Rockaways to be there), and to Linda, Pepe, Jason and Amethyst for taking such good care of us. For those who missed dave's "swan song" tonight, it was something to be-hold.

We were all sorry that Snappy, the Bimbos, DCB, rf, *rob*, Noki and lamb were not able to make it. chicken says hi to everyone and says he was there in spirit. (I never heard back from Denton, DH, so I guess he doesn't like us now that he' s moved on up.) Also, apologies to wasder for me blowing it - my BlackBerry battery died (STFU, DH) so I didn't get his 9:45 text asking if we were still there, but he went to the after-party with DH so all was not lost!

PS, dave, the second of the two non-Asian, non-Mexican, non-thug, young white hipsters you were hitting on is actually a Montero's regular, so I guess you'll have to come back there with Biff and me more often.

There are computers that identify what seem in hindsight to be obvious patterns in sequences that appear random to even the smartest humans. I wonder what this group's pattern would be.

Good night all. Sorry for the hasty exit.

In my new stage of lust over non Mexican, non Asian, non thug, young white hipster, I gotta say randi might be the best looking of all the PLUSA men. I'm sure he's happy to hear I think this.

Near as I can tell, Legion made good on his wagers with m4l and Holmes, and partially made good on his wager with me, notably I got my Wacky Packages (thanks, Legion!!), but he didn't have sex with dave in the booth last night . . . perhaps because dave was too busy trying to have sex with those 2 hipsters, even the one with the backwards baseball cap.

serious question... Someone in my office announced a wedding. Everyone's all hoo hoo ha ha yay yay. Me too, I am happy for her. But then it hit me. Out of like 40 people in my office, I am the ONLY single person! Does that make me look strange? Honestly, I have no desire to not be single, I find being single is truly a blessing in many ways, at least for me and the things I prefer in life, but like does it make me look like a freak? Should I make up a fake boyfriend (or even funnier, a girlfriend?) just to fit in and not seem like an outlier?

I feel like sometimes people see all the pictures at my desk of my fish and my dead dog and look at me with pity. Should I put up fake baby pictures? (that actually would be hysterical)

What a nice party, CGar. It was a surprise to see Lech and I was delighted finally to meet Eva. And to finally meet randi, who is charming and good looking. Also, great to see etson who traveled from another country, fearing torrential rains etc. to hang out with losers. And Legion, who travelled too. And M4L travelled overseas. I am really hoping Snappy can make the next one and that the drama has subsided in rf's house, etc. etc. I got to discuss hair, appropriate girlfriends with my son, talk at length with Xing, who did seem to see the humor in the insanity around him. I missed the massages. :-(

Legion, yeah I would have liked to talk to you more too. You are looking very handsome btw. I can't do any real renovations to the place just yet - I am focusing on just maintaining the place for now. But I made a resolution to get much more knowledgeable about many things. I have developed a reasonable amount of knowledge but I need to be doing more things myself. Like you. I remember being impressed by your locksmithing. A couple of hundred dollars here and there adds up with an old house. I need to be able if not to do more work myself, to quickly diagnose and get the right help. I'll get there.

Also, I'm glad that everyone in the family is doing well and you get to enjoy the beach with everything fixed. What a job you did!!!!

http://www.npr.org/blogs/money/2013/05/10/182309623/why-almost-no-one-in-myanmar-wanted-my-money

"The country's leader created new bills overnight in denominations that were multiples of nine — his lucky number. Zeya says the math of adding and subtracting 45s would give people headaches.

So people started to sock away their extra money in U.S. currency. And when your life savings is a few U.S. $100 bills, you want to keep them pristine. Like other people in Myanmar, my translator kept his U.S. bills pressed flat in the pages of a book. Like baseball card collectors, people in Myanmar want their bills in mint condition.

The banks in Myanmar could have solved this problem by accepting old U.S. currency. But for a long time they were cut off from U.S. banks by sanctions, so they didn't want the old bills, either.

As a result, visitors to Myanmar have to bring bills so crisp you can cut tomatoes with them. And bills that are less than perfect end up on the black market. I took my $20 bill with a tiny ink spot on it to a black-market money changer. He gave me $17.75 for it."

I was going to tell CGar a story from a recent commute...guy sitting reading an unfolded NYTimes print edition, full car, leaning out and his newspaper was taking up one of the last available standing spaces. So I stood right in front of him, slowly pushing the newspaper back into his face, and he didn't give an inch. Of course I am not as wide as an unfolded NYTimes so there's only so much I could do without grabbing it and punching him in the face like I wanted to. I looked around the car and people were watching to see if I'd push any closer. Then a few stops later an older woman got on, somewhat large, saw the newspaper was taking up the only spot available, frowned, and stood right in front of the dumbass reader. Between the two of us we pushed the newspaper right back into his face. He still didn't get the hint though. Moron.

From the times today

The level of the most important heat-trapping gas in the atmosphere, carbon dioxide, has passed a long-feared milestone, scientists reported on Friday, reaching a concentration not seen on the earth for millions of years.

Scientific monitors reported that the gas had reached an average daily level that surpassed 400 parts per million — just an odometer moment in one sense, but also a sobering reminder that decades of efforts to bring human-produced emissions under control are faltering.

The best available evidence suggests the amount of the gas in the air has not been this high for at least three million years, before humans evolved, and scientists believe the rise portends large changes in the climate and the level of the sea.

How do people still deny humans have a role in all this!?

In case jackal does a drive-by later, this is the book I was recommending. It meets the criteria of length (well, it is a little over 300 pages) and intelligence and, though sort of a work of magical realism, is a thinly-veiled satire on 1930s Stalinist bureaucracy. Not exactly in the mold of a Don Delillo novel, the model jackal offered of what he enjoys reading, but who knows . . .

From the USA Today article:

Lois Lerner, who heads the IRS unit that oversees tax-exempt groups, said organizations that included the words "tea party" or "patriot" in their applications for tax-exempt status were singled out for additional reviews. Her remarks came at an American Bar Association gathering.

Lerner said the practice, initiated by low-level workers in Cincinnati, was wrong.

"That was wrong. That was absolutely incorrect, it was insensitive and it was inappropriate. That's not how we go about selecting cases for further review," Lerner said at a conference sponsored by the American Bar Association.

"The IRS would like to apologize for that," she added.

In a follow-up statement, the IRS said it has fixed the system, and that an influx of tax-exempt applications in an election year contributed to the problem. "Mistakes were made initially, but they were in no way due to any political or partisan rationale," said the statement from IRS spokeswoman Sara Eguren.

Just back from the D-word. Although I hate, hate, hate going, I have to say that the D-word Arkady referred me to is incredibly nice and reassuring. Many more visits to the oral surgeon (also nice!) and back to D-word. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

Trader Joe's has incredibly delicious pigs in blankets with puff pastry, sprinkled with parmesan, in the frozen-food aisle. Yum.

I know, it's like Piggies in a Blanket for Dummies! (Not meant towards you!)

It's kind of like buying a pre-made plate of cubed cheeses or cut up fruit. Not hard to do yourself but it's tempting to just get it already made.

My dentist just moved from a genteel building on Park Avenue with charming, cramped offices. They moved to a building on 35th St, a nice landmark building and redid the whole ground floor to make a very modern, if underground sort of place. It is very minimalistic. It feels WRONG to me. Very sterile. Too sterile. Like they do experiments down there. He has a lot of really cutting edge technology: MRI machine, complex, computer driven, finely calibrated tools for doing implants.

They cancelled my appointment the other day because they LOST POWER!!!!!! That scares the crap out of me.

Oh NICE inspiration with the Flintstone's cartoon pic. I was never truly satisfied with my only girl scalebaby's name, Dinky Pinky II. Her new name is Pebbles. Now I kinda sorta wanna change Charlize Theron (Charlie)'s name to Bam-Bam. I guess it's okay, Duke was called all kinds of names, I never really called him Duke, that was just his government name. If I didn't actually like my own government name, I'd probably change it too. Pebbles/BamBam/Dudley (his name will never get changed, it's so fitting) and Ben (Named after Ben Tramer... Jamie Lee Curtis's boyfriend in the original Halloween... Well not really boyfriend, more like a crush).

I lol'd (literally) out loud on the train tonight. Im reading a novel called Strange But True and one of the characters talked about a man named Dudley who was shipwrecked and survived weeks out on sea only to come back home and a few weeks later drowned in his own bathtub from falling asleep.

Grrr. I have two more fish tanks to change now and make dinner at the same time. I don't know if I can handle this kind of multitasking. Did you know that multitasking is actually a myth? The human brain actually CANNOT perform it the way people think they can do it. The human brain is not able to focus on more than one thing, neurotransmitterly and cellularly anyway. Also, people who attempt to multitask are actually making themselves DUMBER! Look it up, there's all kinds of studies.

I've decided I am going to focus on the fish tanks and then make dinner after my roommates have gone to be downstairs. Focus on one thing at time and do it right.

If I ever have a job interview in the future and I am asked how good I am at multitasking I am going to bring up what I just said in my previous paragraph and tell them that multitasking is a modern day lie that humans made up to make themselves feel more important and that it doesn't really exist and is actually detrimental to productivity.

BamBam is getting an emerald substrate tank in a bit, the hot color this year apparently in fashion! Dudley Fish is getting, well I am not sure what color yet. Will have to pick something out from the bins in the living room.

I hate using old gravel though that I stored in the bins. It smells so funky!!

FYI, I wasn't calling anyone OLD. Hells, *I* am old. But I think bar meet ups are jejune and puerile for people over the age of 30. Me personally, I am in pursuit of more intellectual and healthy exchanges with people these days.

Since tomorrow looks like an awful day for the beach I am going to go to the park and observe insects and stuff. I have a magnifying glass and an observance journal. I will not be like one of those regamuffin types who use the park to do nothing but BBQ, sit on blankets on the lawn eating overpriced food and drinks, etc.

That park up the block is AMAZING. I think I should use it for exercise type activity and scientific exploration. (not really scientific, more just curious nerdy type stuff). Would love to buy a water testing kit and test that dirty ass dog pond by collecting a sample.

I killed my inner nerd like 12-15 years ago, (well more like let him atrophy) but now I am going to revive him. People my age, like 99% of them at least in my day to day contact, are totally family-focused and I am so far outside of that that if I don't find some sorta passion in this short life I am going to be majorly screwed in 10-20 years.

I've been suppressing my own eccentricity for years and years now and that has been the worst thing I have EVER done.

I don't know why I am blabbing on here, probably cuz If I wrote this all on facebook people would get too concerned, which is bizarre because cuz it really should be the opposite.

No, I am just totally procrastinating. Which is one of those things you really can't beat yourself up over doing, unless you never eventually get shit done. The only things I really procrastinate with is household type stuff. I never had a problem with it in school. I was always one of those people that felt like best to get it out of the way, stay! 3 weeks to do a project or report? No way I am waiting to the last minute, would usually do everything as soon as it was assigned and then have that mental relaxation that came along with knowing it was already done. There were some bitchy teachers who used to get pissed at me for handing in reports and projects early as if I was asking them to have to be asked to grade them soon (they were probably procrastinators themselves). And then the delusional people who say they "work best under pressure". :-/
Bitches please, you're just being lazy! Perhaps some people work best under pressure, I sure as hell do not. Clients at work actually appreciate my intense getting things done as soon as possible method.

LOLZ, Dudley and BamBam are looking at me right now being like bitch, get off your ass and change our tanks! I sometimes sorta wish I lived in a time where there was no internet. There's really way too many distractions these days, and very little intrapersonal and intrapsychic communication between humans brain2brain and face2face.

When I am in a crowded elevator and everyone (literally) is staring into their phone it kinda makes me sad. Sometimes it makes me wanna fart, but I don't know how to fart and I never get gas. Is farting like whistling? I have never been able to whistle either! I've spend 100s of hours in the course of my lifetime trying to learn to whistle. FAIL!

Actually, I never thought about looking up a youtube video on how to learn to whistle. Might do that tonight, after the tanks are done of course.

Don't get me started at teachers who took WEEKS to grade papers and projects... I HATED them! My favorite teachers were the ones during a test, who would start grading them the second you handed them in and they were all ready to get back the next day! *THAT* is how you get things done.

And then of course those teachers that graded the early handed in tests that were kinda sly if they loved ya and would bring the test back to your desk and kinda wink and let you change any wrong answers.. Female math teachers seemed to do that the most.

Six, I know you are/were? a teacher. I never liked any of my male teachers. College male professors, some were great though... but k-12th grade? ugh. I HATED when I was assigned to a class with a male teacher. I also think MANY MANY MANY of them discriminated against the gay kids (sorry, but that's just my observation having gone thru public school).

Senior year high school English lit teacher was a closeted fagbag who liked to pick on me class for some reason; tho to be honest he was probably one of the very FEW male teachers I didn't actually hate. I didn't like his actual class or teaching style though. We were 12th graders and everyday we had a quiz the first 10 minutes of class on world maps and capitols (capitals?) and just random bullshit that had nothing to do with English Lit but he told he wasn't going to let us go off to college not knowing the capital of our own state (jersey) which he quizzed everyone on on the first day of class and like 5 people out of 30 got it correct lol. (sadly, I wrote down Jersey City)

rob, if you go on a job interview, do NOT MENTION fish tank cleaning and doing dinner as an example of your multitasking ability (even though it is). And go for it man. Observe insects!

I also feel sad when the whole world is staring into a phone. I feel lonely. I want eye contact and to smile at someone and have them smile back. Rob, remember when you are feeling cranky and ready to be critical of old people..... Remember, they still have social skills. They still look up, talk and smile as part of ordinary human interaction. Maybe someday people will cease to talk and just grunt and text.

Pete, somehow I think my enthusiasm for meeting Eva interrupted our conversation about NP, Lesbi and canna plants and then I looked for you and you and Lesbi left. :-( Bummer.

I have been rotting in this house all day, trying to finish one of my projects and it is taking me so long. I wanted to have the whole thing done 10 days early by having it done today and it feels like I have just scratched the surface. Well, hopefully now that I have struggled with how to put it together, I will be able to see faster progress.

I am SO procrastinating tonight, but it's okay cuz I can make dinner later or just not eat at all tonight and have a healthy breakfast instead. The fish won't die an extra hour in their skank tanks.

RE: old people. On the train I always take notice who is reading paper copies of books (i know blah blah wags cane, etc) but I love reading paper books and I love when I see people reading them too versus staring into their phone or listening to music. Don't want to be a hypocrite, when I go to the beach and back I listen to music on the train and don't read. But I feel like some people have this dumb look on their face like damn, you can't be using this 1/2 an hour to educate yourself and absord something remotely intellectual? Of course many do it on their ipads and phones and kindles, but it's really hard to spy on people that way to see what they are reading. I LOVE getting into conversations when I would see someone reading a book I read, just cuz of the recognizable cover art, etc... You can't do that with people reading electronically :( Tho an app that would download what people are reading on the train electronically would be kinda awesome, kinda like the literary version of that gay skank hookup app, Grindr. Instead of seeing who is closest to you to get a dick in your butt, you see who is reading what.

I've mentioned this book before, and even SNAPPY read it and endorses it, but Cupcake Brown's a Piece of Cake is a great book. I've seen this random woman for like 6 months now maybe longer on the train every once in a while reading that book, it's like girl you need to learn how to read faster. But I LOVE her that she is reading that book.

The last person I went up to on the train reading a book that looked interesting was a few weeks ago, perhaps months, and she got all religious about it, but it was awesome because it was an actual human interaction and she LOVED that someone even asked about the book... It was some kind of self help book, sorta, but with a religious overtone... I wrote about it on a scrap of paper. The woman was also deformed in the face, but had a certain sparkle in her eyes from what she was reading and im a curious bitch so I had to strike up a convo. We were just two people going to work, reading, minding our own business, but had a great conversation because of that. People with their faces buried in their phones you can't really start up a convo with and it's very anti-social. Perhaps I am old like I said, but I see a total disconnect these days and it's sad.

okay REALLY going to change the tanks now.

It's almost 10pm! Do you know where your children are!?

Good to know, I wasn't all that impressed with the service at that one. I actually told BH that I'll have to try a different one next time. I used to go to the one near Degraw on Court, which was very good.

I noticed that too, Eva! Wtf!

Though I did get several compliments on my haircut/color last night, which was much appreciated. Over the course of my life I have tried many styles, and this is the one (or very similar) that gets the rave reviews. I guess I'm 'stuck' with it! ; )

I heard Amethyst sing for the first time last night. That was *really* wonderful. And Bill — a guy who works at the hospital, and used to sing almost professionally — sang beautifully. Real talents, both.

Sorry we missed you, LP! We were with the short people, and their handlers, at their school. There was a talent show. One of the short people performed, and very well!

As an aside, apparently a *grandchild!* of Ric Ocasek, from the Cars, goes to school there, too. BH had a guitar with him, and I wondered why RC kept looking at us at one point, it was only later that I realized it was because of the guitar. Anyway, his grandkid was quite good. He, however, looked as emaciated as ever, as did the person with him, who I imagine is the g.kid's mother, and was not Paulina.

In that case, definitely try Apple Spa. I mean it when I say they are wonderful to me. I am probably their best customer. I go pretty much every Saturday... I buy them a Harry and David gift basket every year for the holidays. If you do go, they know me by my formal first name.

He is visiting with his family for the rest of the week. Great to have him here. I sorta tortured him with every decision. Much the same way CGar tortured us.

He found the entrance area larger than he imagined it to be and the kitchen counter further from the entrance tha expected. We marveled at the pantry and even with the rain, we were able to spend some time in the back yard.

Many drinks this week! Laughed til we cried and snorted. Good time had by all.

Funny, Cobble. I used to live near Ric Ocasek when I lived in Gramercy Park, years ago. I'd run into him on occasion at a deli... He looks like a real-life Tim Burton character...

Your pantry is a marvel!

Sounds excellent! Snorting (and snaughling) is much needed by all!

Will do, pepper, as I expect I will be over there more often in the coming days.

He really does, pepper! I walked up the stairs behind them. I think their thighs were about the circumference of my arms! GAH!

Chilling with the rich and famous, cobs. Happy for the short person.
May 10, 2013 11:09 PM - pepper
I hope you are not fretting. It's not a good look, AT ALL. And, I seem to recall, he wore leather pants, even in the dead of summer! WTF?
May 10, 2013 11:09 PM - Cobble B. Hiller
I didn't say I was chilling with them! I just happened to be in the same place! Sheesh!

Short person is getting to be a pre-teen, and was, uhm, not so excited to see us, which was a downer for us, because we were excited to see the short person. Sigh. : (
May 10, 2013 11:11 PM - pepper
But he was pleased with the overall result, Part? Glad to hear you had a snorting good time!
May 10, 2013 11:14 PM - Cobble B. Hiller
It's not a good look, but lots of CH people I know seem to go for it. Fat-free everything, eating bad, food dangerous, lettuce leaves good! GAH! One of the short people's handlers is a food-Nazi of sorts.

Uh, oh, Cobble. Tough years ahead, then. Puberty is a tumultuous time. May I ask if a boy or a girl?

Going to sleep soon. One question.. How do you report a business for foul play (is that even the right word?). I saw this week how the petsmart near me in SoHo handles their fish, well bettas anyway. They only change the water cups they are in ONCE A WEEK! GUH-ROSS! I thought that was nasty, but I saw how they actually do change them and the chick there (she sucks and is always giving people bad advice about fish), saw her changing the cups, basically three big white buckets changing water, etc etc and then she dumps the bettas into one bucket. OMFG. She was literally DUMPING them in really forcefully. You don't DO that. It was the most animal abuse I have ever seen, EVER. I stared at her while she was doing it mortified and she was like "do you gots any questions?" :-/ I wanted to be like um, yeah, where's your manager? Anyway, I am reporting that store. All of my fish are from there and to think they had to endure that kind of absurd is ridiculous.

I actually stop at that pet store every day for a bit on my lunch hour, I love chilling with the lizards and watching the fish, but daaaaaaaaaaamn, I have never in my life seen such abuse and neglect like that. Half their bettas btw look VERY sick. It's just fucked up. If I can pick a cause I am going to pick this one. I can only imagine how they treat the lizards and hamsters ? who knows. I don't know what is good and bad treatment for those animals, but with betta fish I have learned a LOT over the last 6 months and holy shit, that Petsmart is fucked up. Or that one employee is fucked up, she's the only one i've actually caught in the act of it. I would talk to what I think is her supervisor, but she thinks im a total weirdo. She actually makes a frowney face when I come into the store on my lunch hour! Get over yourself! You scoop fish poop for a living (and even though I am slightly jealous) you still should treat regular customers with respect, which she does, but it's fake and forced. But I seriously want to out that one chick I saw abusing the fish this week.

I bought sick Jamie Lee from that store! I think justice should be done (I don't want to get anyone fired though) in the name of Jamie Lee.

Both of the short people are boys. The younger one still gets a little excited to see us, but the older one is showing signs of being in the 'I'm so blase, I can't be asked to acknowledge you in front of my friends, I might look uncool stage'. I imagine this will last 7 or 8 years. Sigh.

"food-nazi = killjoy :o("

You have no idea...and the food arena isn't the only arena the killjoy attitude comes out in. Very puritanical and unaccepting of others. OTOH, has a wicked sense of humor at times, and is one of the few people on this planet that can literally make me pee in my pants. Though that has not happened in a very long time.

"I hope it's only that long, Cobble. My brother is still kind of in that stage, and he'll be 43 next week..."

I remember the 'stage' well. It lasted until I was about 26, when I abruptly realized my parents were getting older, and I better hang out with them while i could.
May 10, 2013 11:39 PM - Cobble B. Hiller
Yes, Eva, my 'short people' will be towering over me with in the next 5-10 years. I tell them that all the time...they love the idea of being as tall as BH, which they may very well be. They were a little shy of him when they were very little. So I had to encourage them to come sit with us, so they could see he wasn't scary even though he was sooo much bigger than them. And I would tell them that one day they will be just as big, and taller than me! They loved that idea! Big smiles and giggles!
May 10, 2013 11:40 PM - Deleted
omg, don't have a hissy over it lol. I assumed it was relatives, but who the hell knows you could be hanging out and taking care of midgets for all I know. (oh wait.. cgar <3 jk hahaha)

Wait, are they short people because they are your relatives (children) or short because you are tall? Sorry, but I just spent hours changing and decorating fish tanks and sometimes at times like this I question my lot in life.

I get sorta kinda pissy sometimes when people are allowed to talk about their babies and kids non stop but the second you start talking about your fish (or cats or dogs even) you get this glazed over look from people and a sorta pay on the head like 'that's nice dear". wtf is THAT about?

I swear part of me wants to say fuck it and get mail order bride from Eastern Europe and let her get a green card, freeze my spermies and make some kids to get the bennies and just live a normal life in a condo overlooking the beach in Brighton in a sexless marriage where I can just claim the benefits and get a big ass lump sum deposited onto a pre-paid Visa card for going through this all. I mean why the hell not? We should be allowed to marry anyone we want and the bennies should come with it!

I can totally see myself married to a freak russian chick and both of us making tons of money doing various kinds of things.

Laying in the sun every weekend at Brighton, eventually something like this *will* happen. It's no more or less legit than moonface couples or yuppie couples, is it? I'm becoming VERY clued in these days about how to make a life more financially lucrative.

I remember it well, too, Cobble. I was an angry, angry teen. I snapped out of it by my early 20's. My brother, on the other hand, just fell silent, and has yet to really, truly snap out of it. :o(

rob, you report them to the Better Business Bureau. You can do it on their website. Google it. Yes, one of the short people in my family is 6' 4". BTW, I was surprised to hear that dh is 6' 4".
May 10, 2013 11:46 PM - Cobble B. Hiller
They are just short for now. They're children of my sibling. I don't get along with my sibling, for reasons far too complicated to discuss here. They are people, with lives, and thoughts, and feelings. So instead of referring to them as my sibling's children. I call them 'the short people'. It's just a nickname, shorthand. And it leaves out identifying information. CH is a small world. Brooklyn is a small world. I don't want to talk about them in anyway that might identify THEM to anyone. It's fine that you all know who I am off the blog, but it's not fair, in my mind, to identify them. (DIBS will make fun of this tomorrow. : ( )

Dona, I've been thinking about it today. You should let Marina do the light to dark blending. I feel confident in her abilities... Even so, you hair looks great now, as it is!

AH! Gotcha, I think i've been the same way with "New Dog" His name is Bocce. He's a great dog. We had our issues at first, but we are good these days. He likes hanging out on the couch in my bedroom, my roommate can hardly get him out of my room to get into the crate sometimes.

Sometimes he likes to bite my nose still. And he still likes to bite my ankles if he's in the living room and I go out there. I'm not as much of a drama queen as much about it like I was a few months ago when I just "HAVE TO MOVE OUT!!!!!! PANIC ON MSN!!!!"

He's a good dog. I also can't imagine living in an apartment without a dog. Funny in this two bedroom apartment there are seven males and one female living here. Of course 4 are fish and one is a dog, but still. Poor girl fish of mine. It must smell like a sock fest!

Im going to sleep. Sad tomorrow isnt a beach day, but a laundry day. blech.

Similarly, I don't discuss DoBH, she has her own life, and other family, and a good chunk of my and BH's family, extended and immediate, are in the same vicinity. So, I just don't talk about them much. And if I do, I try to keep it as vague and non-specific as possible. Hence, the nicknames and lack of detail.

pepper, thanks. And thanks for the recommendation. I really like her. I will let her do something with the streaks. I am now able to articulate colors (thanks to esalon.com). The color of highlights is not golden brown, or mahogony or auburn (one would think so though!!!) but copper. Who knew? So copper highlights would just integrate the lighter top with the magic marker head dark which is growing out. I'll do it. ( I will. I will. Feel like the cowardly lion). No I really will.

Well, it's to bed for me too.

Good night everyone!
