Woke up, ate breakfast, drank coffee, ran 17 miles. Now I have to figure out how to flush / winterize my in ground lawn sprinkler system. Wife wants to just pay someone else money to do it. I fired her as family CFO. (j/k, j/k, she was never family CFO).

The bolts definitely weren't timed in the performance i saw. Had a birds eye view of the guy playing all the electronic stuff and he was controlling the bolts using something called a "reacTABLE". Depending on where he would slide these pods on a green screen the pitch of the crackle would change and another would turn them off and on There's demos and writeups about it somewhere.

Benson, it's Santacon today/tonight. Kinda like comicon but for people obsessed with all things Santa and Christmas. Of course, in Manhattan, it's an excuse to dress like a big red man, and for girls to wear short red dresses and get silly drunk. I am in the Village now and half of the suit wearing people are already barely walking.

Oh and DIBS, I'm not so sure about the horned rim glasses. There is a stretch of the aquaduct trail near here that fills up with Manhattan day trippers on the weekends. The men have horned rim glasses and look like they're dressed up for a safari or something. They have binoculars and silly hats that they probably think outdoorsmen wear. It's sort of like the American version of upperclass twit of the year. Where do rich Manhattanites shop for outdoor clothing? They all shop there. I'm pretty sure they carefully get a little mud on their $500 leather "hiking boots" so they can put them next to the fireplace in front of the huge globe and tell their friends about roughing it in the wilds of Irvington. Anyways, I associate horned rim glasses with people like that.
