Weekend OTs! Yet another PLUS of the Great PLUSA migration from that Real Estate blog....

But I mustn't linger. I'm on my way to GAP Greenmarket to pick up my weekly supply of organic artesanal bok choy.

I'll be around some, but need to get away from the computer. Need a little detox from this past week.

s possib;e to a find a vacuum for that kind of thing for under 30 buxs anywhere? (i wont buy a used vacuum)... im thinking maybe at one of the value stores i could find one?

youre a fool. by nature it's already organic, and how on earth can one make it artisinal? unless you were joking. which you might be, i dont know. i slept with my contact lenses in last night so it's hard for me to tell if people are being jokey or not today

i just completely broke down crying (and embarrassing myself) in the adoption dog and cat truck on 5th ave and president street. i normally never go INSIDE the truck cuz i feel like so many people go in there treating it like a mobile zoo, but i went inside :~( everyone leaves that truck with smiles on their face for some reason.. it completely depressed me. i wish i could adopt Astro the hound mutt :( and the poodle that had no eyes :(

Thanks, wonTon- Cgar and I are looking for suggestions on what's wanted and needed for the site. But expect it to take time (as we procrastinate around the pool, feeding chocolates to the poodle :)

Really sad, rob. I have the same problem when I go to an animal shelter or look on petfinder. I want to volunteer at an animal shelter but I'm too afraid I'll wind up adopting even more animals and I just can't. Or I'll spend all day crying in front of the cages.

yes! that is it! that is exactly what happened. i tried to make myself not, but it was impossible. it caused such a visceral emotion in me that sparked something. ive never cried over things that most people would cry over in my life (sorta), but i did cry standing there in front of a cage with a dog sticking it's paddy out and licking my face.

I'm the same way rob, when it comes to animals. Don't even ask what I go through when those ASPCA commercials come on. It takes a lot to make me cry, but a sick or injured animal, forget it. That's how I wound up with the blind kittens.

***Loser Alert***

Several Losers were spotted at a Cobble Hill restaurant last night. It's become apparent that PLUSAs are gathering, on occasion, with NON-PLUSA entities. (GASP!) I know! I was shocked, too! More study is needed. : P

Question of the day: is not my daughter the most beautiful girl in Brooklyn? She's the one on the left.

By the way: I just finished a bike ride through Montrose and Bxgrl's neck of the woods. I saw the fabled Elkins house. Since, it's Sunday, I'll give it a rest.....

I'm in and out this weekend. We have family in that we're having to show around NYC.

On a totally unrelated note, my D key was just sticking. My laptop knows it's a year and a half old. Oh, no!

CGar, thank you for your official communications. I hope for an orderly transition to our
new universe and extend my support to President Champion as continuing PLUSA president.
Bxgrl, the banner does have a slightly other worldly feel, but I very much like the
Coney Island Head and the blowing beard of Walt Whitman. Works for me.
And Benson, yes, your daughter is a very pretty young lady.

Later, PLUSAs.

Cannot sleep, so Mr. Collins and I are watching "The Grapes of Wrath." If you change the costumes and cars, sadly, it could be a documentary about 2011.
