Slow Cooker (Or Oven) Hasselback Apple Pork Loin

This recipe looks delicious and I'm a big fan of pork tenderloin.

It's a recipe for a slow cooker (dh take note)but can be done in the oven easy enough.

In general, 1 hour of simmering on the range or baking at 350°F in the oven is equal to 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high in a slow cooker.

So, the plan is to make this sure-to-be-tasty ravioli with spinach and bacon (NOM!). But I think I'd also like some cheese in there. What cheese(s) do you think would blend nicely with this? (DO NOT SAY RICOTTA) Danke in advance.

Ready Made Crust?

I wanna make this, but I'm way too lazy to do a homemade crust. Any ideas for something ready made that I can buy and use that won't taste awful?

I'm not a fan of cream cheese. Any suggestions on a good substitute that could go well with the other ingredients? Let's also avoid mayonnaise. Danke!

In a cocktail shaker add ice and:

2 parts piss
2 parts vinegar

Shake vigorously until foaming at the mouth. Garnish with sour lime slices.
Multiply recipe and serve to like minded friends.


Potatoes au Gratin, la R'andi

1/2c heavy cream, 2lbs potatoes, 1/2 large onion. simmer the cream with nutmeg (no antique grinder, sorry dibs) bay leaf, garlic and rosemary, strain it, pour over the potatoes and onions (1/8" slices if you use a mandoline) in a bowl, salt pepper, then layer with shaved gruyere in a buttered dish. pour remaining cream into dish, sprinkle top w grated cheese and a little paprika for color, bake covered 400 for 40 minutes.
